Dear Yulegoat,
You are amazing. I want to tell you that up front, because you are.
Please don’t stress about this assignment. Just the fact that you are writing for any of these fandoms in the first place will make me ridiculously happy. Also, I just love gifts in general, so I’ll be chuffed to get a prize of any shape and size. I know this letter is ridiculously long as again I love these fandoms, but don’t let that scare you off.
If none of the prompts/like list work for you, feel free to ignore them.
The only thing I do ask is that my No-Thanks list be avoided.
No thanks: Slave worlds, demon-possession, mind control, prostitution, noncon, dubcon, character death, infidelity, love triangles/jealousy focus (I am far more fond of OT3ing it up), characters de-aged during the story (if you make one of the characters a child, make them “canon” children for that story if that makes sense), A/B/O, gangster/mob, noir settings, amnesia fics, loss of limb/amputations, mpreg, underage, gender swap, teacher/student stories, or focus on drug abuse or alcoholism. Regarding incest – I have exactly two sibling pairings that work there for me and I haven’t requested either fandom for this exchange, so please avoid that. Also, no parent/child pairings. Please no 2nd person or 1st person POVs (enjoyed them in the past - just not in the mood this year).

NOTE: I am VERY picky about my slash pairings and usually prefer Het except for a few exceptions which aren’t included in this request. 28 Weeks Later (2007) (Single movie - no need to watch 28 Days Later as Doyle only appears in the second film)

This is one of the fandoms I request in various exchanges but just never get fic for sadly. There are a whopping 28 fics total for it (with several of them being crossovers that don’t even include the canon characters), and I’ve written two out of that total. So yeah, would LOVE to get something for it, even if it’s as a treat and not my main assignment.
I loved this movie, and loved Renner in it. Most I have a competency kink and sniper!Doyle totally hit my buttons, as did the little moments of humor peeking out from beneath his soldier exterior.
The world building too was fantastic – I love the aftermath of the first movie, and how the different characters were working together to try to let people finally return to their homes (Even if that REALLY didn’t work out long term).
I enjoyed all of the nominated characters BTW, so I’d totally be game with them making appearances – I just want a story centered on Doyle.
BTW, my main complaint with this movie was that his death felt way too anticlimactic in my opinion, so yeah – anyway to keep him alive would definitely be appreciated. You certainly don’t have to write the moment that he’s saved though, even just having him have somehow survived off screen to rejoin Tammy and Andy, and even possibly Flynn in the aftermath of the second outbreak would definitely be awesome. I also kinda shipped him and Tammy a little – but please have her be at least 17 to help me with my underage issues!
Mad Max Series (Movies) (Specifically Fury Road - single movie)
Max Rockatansky, Furiosa
Oh sweet jeebus this movie. It drove right onto my Top 10 fave films ever, and I am perfectly happy with it there. Tom Hardy played a fantastic Max after all the horrors he has faced over the years, and Furiosa for Our Lady Savior forever. And the two of them together sharing weaponry and winning respect after a knock down drag out brawl? That will never not hit me right in the competency kink.
That said, I know there are people out there who don’t ship these two, and that’s fine. I personally ship them like FedEx, but I do understand the appeal of platonic life partners, as well. Gen would totally be welcome as long as these two are still working, fighting, and striving side by side.
Really I just want these two together being badass and taking on the world together. Whether at the Citadel or out in the Wasteland or even piloting a Jaeger together. I just want Max and Furiosa on the page however you can get them there. I’d be totally game for Dog to show up too – I heart puppies & kittens. They will never be a bad addition to any story (though please don’t have them as a meal – I know it could be canon in Mad Max verse, but I prefer my fuzzies cuddled instead of cooked).
BTW, I’m totally game to have The Wives & The Vuvalini (Mrs. Challenge?), Nux, Ace, and other assorted War Boy survivors and/or Citadel residents showing up, but I really want Max and Furiosa to take center stage. I would, however, prefer not to receive anything featuring Immortan Joe and his cronies or have explicit mention of the pre-canon atrocities suffered by the Wives and Furiosa.
Dredd (2012) (single movie)
Joseph Dredd, Cassandra Anderson
This was another movie where my competency kink button was hit so, so hard. Karl Urban knocked it out of the park for me with his version of Dredd, and Anderson was a surprise favorite I didn’t expect to love as much as I did (since, let’s be real, I was in this movie for Karl Urban).
The world building of Dredd is one of my faves too – dark and gritty, but still with people trying to live their lives despite the chaos and crime all around them. And the Hall of Justice – man what a cool concept to consider. What must the training and internal politics be like in a place like that?
I’ve written the longest canon centric/character fic in this fandom, but I still would love to see more fic for them! I’ve signed the petition; I desperately want a sequel (as does Karl Urban!!), but know it’s not likely that I’ll get one. Really, I just want more of this fandom in general and these two in particular. So that’s what I’m hoping for with this request: more of Dredd and Anderson after he passes her and she gains her shield as a full Judge. Are they paired up by chance or by the Chief Judge’s will? How does Dredd adjust to Anderson’s abilities? Does she ever get to see him without the helmet (or without the rest of his uniform – yes I ship it LOL)?
I will definitely be on board for gen, but sexy times would definitely be welcome
North and South - Elizabeth Gaskell | UK TV (Book and/or 4 episode BBC miniseries)

First up since it was discussed as an issue during nominations, the miniseries is definitely my favorite version of the story, but if you’ve read the book but not seen the miniseries, please don’t be afraid to stick to the book canon as I loved the original Elizabeth Gaskell, too. (Though I DEFINITELY recommend the miniseries when you get a chance too, of course).
I specifically requested John and Margaret as their romance blew me away, but I would welcome interactions with any of the other characters too. Frankly everything about this show takes my breath away. The costumes and set design were stunning, and Richard Armitage had me sighing like a school girl for most of the mini-series, though especially during the train station scene!
Honestly, I’d be thrilled with anything and everything for this series though I would love if John and Margaret were the focus. Though if you want to try for the Mrs. Challenge, any interactions with the various ladies would be great too! Anything from epistolary fic, to train fic, to a honeymoon to visit Fred, to business with the mill, to well, anything for this series would make me happy.
Jupiter Ascending (2015) (single movie)

I just flat out loved this movie. Caine and Jupiter’s slow building relationship was a delight, and I was blown away by all of the world building and scenery and just everything really. Plus, GRAVITY SKATES! Those looked like blast, though my scare-of-heights self would be freaked out.
So what do I want for this fandom? I’d love a post-movie sequel-type fic with what happens next. I’m really bummed that as yet a sequel isn’t planned, because there was so much left to be told. I would like the focus on Jupiter and Caine as a couple, but I’m totally OK with shenanigans with Jupiter’s family (whether knowing or unknowing of Jupiter’s Queen of Earth status) or more interactions with Stinger and his daughter. Basically just build on what we got in the movie and I’ll be thrilled.
Also, I would really REALLY be on board with some Jupiter as FemDom and Caine as service!sub – it’s a switch to my normal DS preferences, but man does it ever work in this context. “Your Majesty” was never as erotic as Caine made it sound LOL. As I mentioned above, I'm not a huge fan of painplay - but tying up and worshipping sounds really delightful, and collaring absolutely would work for me in this context.
The Man from U.N.C.L.E. (2015) (single movie)
Illya Kuryakin, Gaby Teller
Another movie that I just recently saw that I definitely love. This was just such FUN, you know? The spy shenanigans were almost perfectly balanced out with the humor and sly hints at romance. Definitely one I hope for a sequel for!
On to the requested characters – yes, yes I do ship Gallya hard, and frankly I think Napoleon Solo does too LOL. The height kink alone for these two is just darling, and the sparks between the strong silent Russian bear with a temper but who just wants to be cuddled and the feisty German survivor who isn’t taking ANYONE’S shit just so utterly works for me.
