First of all, thank you THANK YOU for signing up and agreeing to write a prize for me. I only recently got into fic/art exchanges, but I am flat loving them. It's such a fun way to meet new writers! Plus the greedy side of me loves getting goodies almost as much as the gifty side of me likes giving them out. *grin*

Anyway, on to the nitty gritty general likes/dislikes. And as always with gift fics – this is just a rough guide hopefully to help you with ideas, but feel free to ignore the likes if none of them jump out at you. I just really would prefer not to have any of the squicks/dislikes come up please!

Things I like: postapocalyptic fic, slice of life/domestic fic (if you can manage both postapocalyptic AND domestic I will bow to your greatness lol), teamfics, smut, trio fic (optional of course lol), crossovers, AUs, supernatural elements, badass chicks and men who respect/lust after them for it, fixit fics to bring back killed off characters, also am a music junkie so anything incorporating that

Squicks/Dislikes: noncon, dubcon, character death, infidelity, RPF, bodily fluids, knife/blood play (as I have some triggers there), mpreg, underage/pedophilia, explicit slash, genderbending, incest.

So that's just the quicknotes versions of what I'd love and/or loathe to see. As always optional details are optional. Really, the dislikes are the biggies for me - the likes would just be bonuses!

North and South - Elizabeth Gaskell | UK TV TV all

I just discovered this mini-series (and book actually), and frankly it took my breath away. The scenes and costumes were stunning, and Richard Armitage just flat took my breath away for most of the mini-series, though especially during the train station scene. Really, I’d be thrilled with anything from this series, though I would love if John and Margaret were the focus!

King Arthur – Tristan

This series was the first that I actually managed to write a full length fic in that I felt truly proud of. It’s remained a fandom close to my heart even though I haven’t written anything for it in years. In the film itself, Mads Mikkelsen’s Tristan absolutely captivated me, and really that’s all I need for this request: Tristan being Tristan, whether it’s with his brothers-in-arms, his animals, or some unknown lady. Really anything Tristan and non-slash would make me happy.

The Mummy Series – all –

Oh The Mummy! This and The Mummy Returns are some of the movies that I put on whenever I need a pick-me-up. I grin like a loon during all of it. I will be thrilled with any kind of gen or het Mummy fic, but optional details being optional – Ardeth Bay was definitely my favorite character lol. Oh btw, I really tend to ignore that the third movie exists.

Andromeda – Telemachus Rhade, Gaheris Rhade

Yet another of those nostalgia fandoms. Both of the men mentioned here are two of my faves from the show, but sadly there are very few fics that really showcase how awesome they are. Gaheris ala the Unconquerable Man was absolutely fantastic – I’d love to see an AU where he somehow survived along with Dylan and the crew. The trust issues there would be a treat to see played out. And Telemachus as his genetic heir just made me smile for some reason so I’d just love to see more of him in general – more screen time with his wife and family would be delightful, too. Honestly, it would be a blast to see either Rhade take center stage.

The Unusuals Jason Walsh, Casey Schraeger, Allison Beaumont

Finally, The Unusuals is one of those shows on my “to be mourned” list. It was such a fun take on all the cop dramas out there, and Jeremy Renner was delightful as Jason Walsh. I’m pretty easy on this one – I’ll take any of the three requested characters in pretty much any mix and match of pairings; the chemistry just works with everybody really. This is definitely one of my trio fic fandoms if you think Jason can manage to keep up with both Casey and Allison all at once!

Skip Beat! Ren Tsugura Mogami Kyoko

This particular fandom is one of my guilty pleasure fandoms. I flat leave it open to anything with these two characters, shippy or gen. Though, please don’t have them pairing up with anyone else!
