So yes, random, and fuck if I care cuz I really REALLY needed a moment to squee: Ben Mansfield, ala Captain Ridiculously Sexy Becker and I have something in common. Well... other than a rather over the top obsession with weaponry. And no, you probably don't want to ask me about that... Anyway!

The highly amusing fun fact that I discovered today:  he is exactly 1 year older than I am... as in, same birthday. This really should not tickle me as much as it does, and it's probably a sign that I have no life beyond my laptop and youtube (FINALLY caught up on the current Primeval eps!) but really... I cease to care.

I know right? This was from a delightful pair of post apocalyptic episodes they had in the 3rd season I think...*swoons* Unfortunately, he's normally almost too pretty for me.

I can't remember if I told you about him or not. He was the soldier on Primeval that early on always made me think more "Commando Ken Doll" instead of badass special forces guy.

But he's getting more snarky moments.. and he always has smexy weaponry.. so I can get over the too-pretty issue.

I know right? Those eps were probably when I ended up crushing on him. He was just almost too pretty for me before that.

I honestly wouldn't care if they only showed it over the pond because i'm pretty sure i could find the energy from somewhere to stay up til the early hours of the morning to watch via livestreaming.

Someone made a comment earlier on the 'just kiss her' drabble about wishing it was produced by HBO, i think if it was i think i'd have heart failure, could you imagine primeval true blood style. now that would be an excess of dirty becker but i really don't think i'd have a problem with that..

Yeah very true. The internet is our friend! Course.. now I do want the new seasons on DVD in the US asap!!!

And yeah, not sure how I'd be able to handle it either.. it'd be hot.. way hot. Maybe just to the level of Torchwood? Where there's maybe an obvious sex scene like.. every 3-4 eps instead of 3-4 sex scenes per ep? lol

my fellas going to kill me but just ordered my dvd's season 1 - 5 from amazon, my reasoning is it could have been the complete 10seasons of smallville which costs way more so he should be thankful.. lol.
When do they come out in US hun? you got a long wait?

yeah that is definitely a good point. Especially as several of the seasons are combined I think.

And there's no release date for the US that I can find so far... *pout*
