In Honor of Halloween! Flist fun!

Stolen from [livejournal.com profile] sourpony:

In honor of All Hallow's Eve, I'm inviting trick-or-treaters to my 'door.' Comment "trick-or-treat" to this post and...well, you know the drill. Treats can be anything that strikes my fancy (pics of fave actors or pairings, one sentence fics, graphics, a few words why I'm glad tohave you on my flist, etc. etc.). The more "houses" to visit the more fun it'll be, so go ahead, open your journal and help spread the fun!

**If you leave me a list of fandoms you're into (or two or three fandoms, at least), that would be very helpful! Thanks!

(Of course part of this means I need to figure out how to imbed pics etc in comments, but I shall manage it!)

Hope you like it!

A roar sounded outside the garage, and Jess turned in excitement, and then manfully tried to hide that excitement. It wouldn’t do to be giggling like a schoolgirl when the motorbike reached her. Really, it was a just a coincidence that she was walking to the doors from her Mini just as the new Captain was driving up. There was nothing like a plan involved. That would be just ridiculous and probably more than a little creepy.

Wincing at the direction of her thoughts and the niggling little voice in her head that reminded her there had absolutely been a plan involved, Jess turned and scurried as fast as her heels would allow toward the door. Suddenly, it seemed like a better idea to just go on inside and pretend this little lapse in judgment had never happened.

It was a little too late though – the bike was past the security check point and came through the garage and to a stop in one of the smaller reserved spots just down from the door. One of the spots directly in front of Jess, as it happened.

The rider killed the motor and slid off gracefully, tugging off the helmet to reveal long red hair and a tired smile.

“’Morning, Jess,” Fee said, and then stepped ahead of her to the door and pulled it open. “You coming?” she asked, still holding the door and clearly waiting for the younger woman.

“Oh! Yes, I am. Right, thank you,” Jess babbled helplessly, hurrying over and nearly tripping over her feet in the process. Fee smiled again and steadied her, then followed her through the door. The Captain went off down the hall toward the armoury with another small smile and a wave, leaving Jess alone in the hall.

Oh well that went just swimmingly, she thought with a wince.

*grins* She totally did - though maybe it was just more Jess... I can slip into her head pretty easily sometimes!
