Occasionally I surprise myself with my awesome... also hair!

So I ended up way behind on NaNoWriMo this week after getting with a migraine on Sunday and not managing to write anything that day or much of anything on Monday. So as you can imaging I was trying to play catch up all week.

Color me totally shocked when today I sat down and had a totally easy flow going, ran my wordcount and realized I had done 3,500 just in the course of an afternoon. And am now caught up at 23,384. Color me very VERY pleased with myself!!

Oh! And because I get a wild hair occasionally, I decided to go red again. It's not as crazy red as it has been in the past, but I wanted it more natural since I'm working in a pretty professional office environment.

I like it though. I'll post pics later if I can get LJ to behave.

Anyway, what's going on with all of you?

I have so much writing to do and I'm getting none of it done and it's driving me insane.

But aside from that, we had a lovely experience wherein I got put on a med by my neurologist -- the extended release form of what I was taking before -- only to discover that even WITH my insurance and a co-pay discount card it'd still cost 337 bucks. Except I got really attached to that medicine and not having to take meds three times a day and not having to worry about if I'll REMEMBER before I get a headache and not getting the headaches period... kinda wound up having a sobbing meltdown over being unable to afford it. (I had my period too which never helps, lol.)

Oh, and there's the fun of working 5am to 1:30pm on Black Friday... in TOYS. As one of my friends said, "It's been nice knowing you."

So yeah, that's my life lately, lol. Nothing too interesting, but sometimes that's a good thing.
