Updates updates and stuff and such

So, I've been a little quiet this weekend mostly cuz we ran around like crazy this weekend complete with my mom visiting and we painted and all sorts of stuff and then my kymyume came and we painted and were pirates at Sherwood Faire and watched the music parts of Glee and accidently butchered my hair when I asked her to trim my bangs. Yeah.... that last part was a mistake. Like whoa.

Eventually there will be pictures when I bother to get them off my camera, but mostly I've been lazy in recovery this week lol.

In other news, I've decided after a talk with askita my betaluv and co-writer for one of the fics, that I am dropping both of my crossbigbang fics.

Why you ask? Well remember that Resolution post I did this year? Remember how I specifically stated that I was NOT going to allow fanfic to get in the way of the writing and editing I've done on my original fic? Remember that?

Yeah... that's not going so well. So I decided I needed to at least ditch the massive fic projects on my lap so I can focus.

Maybe, just MAYBE if I'm good and have the majority of Proxy editted by the time hetbigbang rolls around again, I may allow myself to write for that. It could almost be a tradition or something.

But ONLY if I've gotten enough done on Proxy. Seriously fanfic will still be here when I'm done with that - and it's not like I can't find another dozen Big Bangs going all at once lol.

So yeah. How are the rest of you crazy kids doing?

OH YEAH!!!!! I almost forgot to squeal about this!! Guess who found The Unusuals at Half Price Books for $15!!!!!!! *squees*

And anyways, as I said, I'm superexcited about hetbang, so I'm hanging it over my head like a chocolate carrot on a string thing. Which was CHAOS-thon? And which Hetbang was yours again? Seriously the mass of awesome fic STILL makes my head spin lol.

Ahhh gotcha. Yeah I think I only have seen the FakeTVs where you do the cast list and show pitch so to speak lol. THough I'd love to getting around to writing some of my WAY too many shows eventually lol.

And ohhhhhhhhhhh that's why I haven't read it - cuz I still haven't gotten around to seeing the vamp ep lol

Where are the pics? Wait, if I'm understanding correctly (based on posts about Gilmore Girls and from knowledge of The Big Bang Theory), it's meant to be historically accurate so you prob couldn't take a camera with you. But that sounds so cool! And you dash it off as a throwaway line when I am so fascinated, tell me more!

Oh, lol, next line reveals there are indeed pics. This is why I should read posts the whole way through before going off on tangents. MY BAD. I'm excited to see them when you get around to d/l them, though...

I am so read for hetbigbang to be here right now- I found a ton of good fics to read last time round (that was how we meant, wasn't it?) and I'm hoping it has a similar payoff this time round... :D

LOL yeah this is not so historically accurate - it's a Sherwood Faire for one, so it's already more legend based. I really love getting to go - me and Kym go at least one every year. Getting all dressed up and seeing everything is a blast. And yes we do have pics but I'm being lazy about posting them. Oops?

I think that is how we met actually. Gah it feels like so quick and it's been nearly a year already. Where is my time going????
