First of all – DON’T PANIC! Seriously, I have no doubts that I will love whatever you write. Just the fact that you are writing for any of these pairings in the first place will make me ridiculously happy. Also, I just love gifts in general, so I’ll be chuffed to get a prize of any shape and size.
I know this letter will likely be ridiculously long and meta-y as again I love these fandoms, but don’t let that scare you off. If none of the prompts/like lists work for you, feel free to ignore them. The only thing I do ask is that my no-thanks list be avoided if all at possible. Other than that though, do whatever the muse tells you!
Yes, please: Post-apocalypse fic, slice of life/domestic fic (if you can manage both post-apocalyptic AND domestic I will bow to your greatness lol), teamfics, found family, crossovers (particularly any of these fandoms/pairings as that could be awesome), AUs (particularly coffee shop, Black Jewels trilogy, daemons, steampunk/neo-Victorian, Sentinel/Guide, Old West, and Pacific Rim fusions), outsider POVs, supernatural elements, badass chicks and men who respect/lust after them for it, fixit fics to bring back killed off characters, fics where characters have kids and are adorable parents. Also, I am a total music junkie so anything incorporating that would be welcome! Some of my current loves are Florence and the Machine, Ellie Goulding, Imagine Dragons, Bastille, Bridget Mendler, and Sara Bareilles. I’m definitely OK with an M-rating, and for smutty fics, I particularly love dirty talk, a clear top ordering their bottom around, hair-pulling, restraints/ropes/shibari/handcuffs/holding partner down, wall sex, shower sex, cramped vehicular sex, biting/marking (without major blood being drawn), matebonds, “OMG we didn’t die” sex, and “sharing body heat” leading to sex (the sharing body heat trope never gets old lol).
No thanks, please: Slave worlds, demon-possession, mind control, noncon, dubcon, character death, infidelity, characters de-aged during the story (if you make one of the characters a child, make them “cannonly” children for that story if that makes sense), A/B/O (in the sexual kink context – non-sexual pack dynamics for Teen Wolf fics is fine), wingfic, gangster/mob, noir settings, amnesia fics, loss of limb/amputations, mpreg, underage, genderswap, RPF. For M-rated fics, for triggering reasons I have to shy away from knife play/blood play/gun play (only in a sexual context – cannon level plot/action violence is fine), scat, watersports, rape-as-fantasy-scenes, anal, and any kind of direct blow in a sexual connotation even including spanking/flogging.
Optional Details Re Crossovers: Optional as always, but I am a definite fan of crossovers. I know it's always a treat to me to see those options available in someone's letter, so I figured I'd specifically mention it could be fun here if you are as much of a crossover junkie as I am and know multiple fandoms I've requested. Really anything could be fabulous. Derek and Kira kicking Kaiju butt in a Jaeger together. Deputy!Derek Hale (which admittedly will ALWAYS be a smexy trope) and Derek Morgan ending up on the same side of a serial killer investigation in Beacon Hills, while Stiles and Lydia have to dodge Penelope's attempts to dig up the secrets of the town. Faith Lehane and Alison having met on a hunt years ago, and end up reconnecting and dragging their respective men into a nest of vampires for old times' sake. The Criminal Minds crew going after what they think is a Bonnie and Clyde pair of killers in Faith and Dean and the latter pair having to try to keep the team from being eaten by whatever they're hunting. Herc as a closet werewolf who has lost the last member of his pack, but finds a new one with actual!puppyshifter and fellow omega Raleigh and kitsune Mako. Seriously the possibilities are endless here. Mix and match at your pleasure LOL.
Teen Wolf
Admittedly this request is mostly about Derek. Bless the boy, if ever a character deserved something GOOD, Derek would be the one. That said, I really, really don’t want anything angsty for this fandom if at all possible. If you really need to write angst, please have it end happily after they get through all the hurt comfort. As far as the pairings/trios below, any one of the three would make me thrilled. No really. Hell, even though this is a ship exchange, I’d be good with gen friendship fic, too. Honestly that’s another one of the things I’d like to see if fic – for Derek to have a healthy non-romantic relationship of some kind with a chick. Healthy romantic relationships are of course acceptable, but I just rarely see friendship fic for Derek. Other general notes before I get to pairing specific: I heart Derek as Alpha. I know he did a bang up job of it to start with, but I love to see him having grown into the role and finding stability from being a proper Alpha. If you go the kinky route, I prefer Derek as dom usually (unless Lydia’s involved because really Lydia is HBIC in the best of ways). Also, I’m totally on board with alwaysagirl!Stiles if you want to go that route, too, just no girl!Derek. Stiles is one of very few characters I’ve enjoyed genderbent. BTW, I am firmly in the Erica and Boyd lives camp, so if you want to throw in pack to the mix, I’d love if they were around. Also, I know cannon couples are clearly by the wayside here, but I’m not big on character bashing or fridging to get couples together. So be nice to Scott and Isaac is all I’m saying. Oh, and one final thing, along the same lines as the minimal angst thing – I’d really like it if Kate, Peter, Gerard, and Duecalion didn’t make appearances. Thanks!
Derek Hale/Kira Yukimura
I’m not sure why, but something about this pairing reads fluffy and adorable for me. Like early Scott&Allison levels of adorable. No clues why, but the image of big, gruff, Derek being totally wrapped around tiny Kira’s finger just makes me smile like a loon. No real prompts beyond that. I’ll just enjoy these two being darling and together.
Allison Argent/Derek Hale/Stiles Stilinski
OK so admittedly this trio may be a little harder to manage without too much angst, but I totally think it could be possible. No matter how you build up to this, I love how these three would be equals in their personal abilities even of those are entirely different: Hunter to Werewolf to Spark. An idea that’s stuck in my head for these three as a great way to make it work could be an AU where Chris actually catches wind of what his sister was up to and stops her, and eventually becomes an ally to the Hale pack as a whole. I mean come on – we KNOW the Argents and the Hales were both living in Beacon Hills at the same time before the fire, and I would assume it was relatively incident free if the Hales weren’t on paranoia watch and missed Kate’s machinations. That makes me think there could have eventually been some cooperation there. And with that alliance in place, a connection to the Sherrif’s department might be the next step in protecting the town. All of this maybe eventually leading to this trio falling into place. Obviously you don’t have to go this route, I just thought I’d share the idea in case you were hoping for prompts!
Derek Hale/Lydia Martin/Stiles Stilinski
Oh holy this trio. Really, we all know these three would end up ruling the world, or at least Beacon Hills and woe to any baddie that dared to challenge them. Every single one of these three is intelligent, strong, gorgeous, and absolutely ruthless when it comes to protecting those they love. I just can’t see a challenge having any kind of a chance against them. And something about that fact is just hot as hell LOL.
Criminal Minds
Derek Morgan/Penelope Garcia
This is another couple that is just utterly fluff for me. They are 100% my Criminal Minds OTP to the point that it was hard for me to watch once her cannon guy came into the picture. I just love their banter back and forth and the way Derek has such a protective instinct when it comes to Penelope. I would love absolutely anything with these two, just as long as we get their banter and fun. No angst for this ship either, now that I think about it. These two are totally a happy place for me lol.
Crossover Ships
Faith Lehane (Angel)/Dean Winchester (Supernatural)
This is possibly one of the hottest crossover ships in the history of ever for me. No lie. I am unabashedly shallow with these two: Eliza Dushku has been my lead girlcrush pretty much forever now, and Jenson had me back with Alec from Dark Angel. The mental image of these two faces on each other’s faces – totally something I’m on board with. Pretty much any way you can get them there, whether it’s Faith dropping in on a hunt on her road to redemption after the end of Buffy and Angel series, or Dean shifting focus from demons to vampires for some reason. Or hell, crossover headcannon totally has Bobby as the gruffest member of the Watcher’s Council ever, and I could definitely see him taking his “nephews” under his wing that way. But yeah, anything would be hot here.
Pacific Rim
Raleigh Becket/Herc Hansen/Mako Mori
This fandom is one of the rare times I’m OK with cannon character death, specifically in regards to this trio. The three of them picking up the pieces after closing the breach and finding out how to live civilian lives together is something I will never ever get tired of. Herc was probably my favorite character in the movie, and I hated that he was left alone – having Mako and Raleigh there to help him put himself back together just feels right somehow.
So there you have it – the ships that I could not resist signing up for even after I’d told myself I was going to skip the exchange this year for my own sanity. What can ya do? LOL
