hiddencait...or Caity prepares for New Years Eve...
So tonight I am going out on the town for New Years to the opening of a new roof top bar here in Austin and I'm freaking excited... and a little scared of the expected hangover but it's possible I'll be able to avoid it. Hopefully - as long as no one slips me tequila!
Anyway, I'm doing all the crazy girl things to prepare - I'm painting my toes even though I'll most likely be wearing boots, and I've done a little mud mask thing.
I am also attempting to dye my hair all by my little lonesome for the first time EVER! And yes I know that sounds kinda pathetic but I have a ton of hair. Seriously - I've had to use three boxes before at it's longest. I only used 1 box this time cuz it's short at the moment, but it's highly possible I'll end up wishing I'd used more dye. Oh well - we shall see how this works out. Worse case scenario - I wear my hair up tonight and get someone to help me fix the dye job tomorrow lol.
Oh! And I haz a pretty glittery slinky dress! It's like totally awesome cliched New Year's Dress! Only problem is that it's long, but the girl I'm going out with might be able to cut and hem it up short for me. I'm still waiting for her to figure out if her sewing machine is working.
So yeah, wish me luck!!
P.S. So the one sucky thus far today - I started my freaking period. WTF universe??? Can't I have the chance for even one night of promiscuity? I mean really.... *pouts*
