I just wanted to thank you for being awesome and writing one of these fandoms and pairings of my heart. You rock; I love you; that is all.

First of all – DON’T PANIC! Seriously, I have no doubts that I will love whatever you write. Just the fact that you are writing for any of these fandoms/characters in the first place will make me ridiculously happy. Also, I just love gifts in general, so I’ll be chuffed to get a prize of any shape and size.
I know this letter will likely be ridiculously long and meta-y as again I love these fandoms, but don’t let that scare you off. If none of the prompts/like lists work for you, feel free to ignore them. The only thing I do ask is that my squick list be avoided. Other than that though, do whatever the muse tells you!
Anyway, on to the nitty gritty general likes/dislikes:
Things I like: post-apocalypse fic, slice of life/domestic fic (if you can manage both post-apocalyptic AND domestic I will bow to your greatness lol), teamfics, crossovers (particularly any of these requested fandoms together could be AWESOME), AUs (particularly coffee shop, Black Jewels trilogy, daemons, steampunk/neo-Victorian, and Pacific Rim fusions), supernatural elements, badass chicks and men who respect/lust after them for it, fixit fics to bring back killed off characters. Also, I am a total music junkie so anything incorporating that would be welcome! Some of my current loves are Ellie Goulding, Imagine Dragons, Bastille, Bridget Mendler, and Sara Bareilles!
Also I am TOTALLY OK with M rated fic if the smut muse visits you. Also, trio fics tend to make me happy, and I’ll try to remember trio options down in the fandom specific stuff in case that tickles your fancy.
Squicks/Dislikes: noncon, dubcon, character death, infidelity, RPF, bodily fluids, knife/blood play (as I have some triggers there – though only in a sexual context – cannon level battle violence is fine), mpreg, underage/pedophilia, explicit slash (except for the couples I specifically list below – I’m mostly a hetter at heart), genderswap (except for femme!Bilbo), and incest.
Hopefully that gives you a rough idea of my preferred types of fics.
Oh BTW and semi-random, since I hadn't considered it, but someone mentioned it - for treats I am TOTALLY OK with art, mixes, vids, anything else you want to do if you choose to give me a treat! I love fic, but since I'm getting that in the main gift, visual pretties are welcome for treating! *grin*
On to the fandom specifics!
1. The Hobbit – Thorin Oakenshield, Bilbo Baggins
BTW, I am so TOTALLY in the “everybody lives” camp with this one. Please leave everybody still alive and well after the Battle of the Five Armies!
But yeah, other than the unfortunate demises, is there anything not to love about this book and/or movie (well that and the lack of female characters – but that’s a rant for another exchange LOL). The scenery was gorgeous, the characters and races are so wonderfully fleshed out. Really anything would make me happy – shippy, gen, or otherwise. I really enjoy the idea of all the politics between all the races, and something relating to the mop after the BoFA and how the elves/men/dwarves/Bilbo sort out medical care and boundary lines really intrigues me.
I am very much a Thorin/Bilbo shipper, and one of the rare genderswaps that I actually enjoy is always-a-girl!Bilbo. Tolkien does leave out the ladies on occasion, and the idea of the unlikely hero who comes through to save the day in this world being a home-loving lady just makes me happy.
Specific things I love about Thorin - his voice (seriously the song in the first movie had my jaw dropping - anything incorporating dwarven musical culture, singing, or the fact that he cannonically plays the harp would be fun), his role as an uncle while still trying to be king, crafting/blacksmithing, how/why he learned the sword instead of the more traditional axe.
Specific things I love about Bilbo - waistcoats, Sting, the fact that he's totally an in-cannon fic writer for his own journey, inter-species political master mind, sneaky little-so-and-so, cooking ALL THE THINGS.
2. The Hobbit – Kili, Tauriel
So can you tell I’m a shipper with these movies? Tauriel stole my heart right along with Kili’s, and I would love to see them adorable and driving all the nay-sayers nuts. Dis’s opinion on Kili’s unusually tall lady-love could be fun to see, too. If you are not a shipper at heart, some gen bantering back and forth over archery or rolling their eyes at their respective kings bickering could be great!
Specific Kili loves - the reckless side, the side that wants to go home to his mother (also, I an a total semi-precious stone and mystical meanings nerd, and the fact that his rune stone is a labradorite amused me beyond all belief), archery, how "un-attractive" he must be by dwarf standards but painfully attractive to the other races, his humor, the way he's clearly not as bitter regarding the other races as the other dwarves.
Honestly no specific Tauriel loves - pretty much everything about her ends up on this list!
As far as side pairings (aside from the two above), I have also been dragged kicking and screaming into the Sigrid/Fili ship and Ori/Dwalin ship, so feel free to toss them in the background if you feel like!
3. Captain America Movies – Steve Rogers, James “Bucky” Barnes
The Winter Soldier movie flat out was fantastic, and Sebastian Stan blew me away. I would be thrilled with anything with these two guys, slashy, platonic or otherwise. I do ask that if you go the angst route that I get a happy ending if at all humanly possible.
Also, I prefer Bucky being the one getting roughed up if you go the H/C route. I usually don’t have a preference either way, but in this fandom, I apparently do. LOL.
Specific Steve loves - him as an artist and the way he'd view the world in terms of color and/or scene, sickly!Steve still being a little badass, Cap!Steve being a total sneaky smartass, his motorcycle.
Bucky - basically all the things with this one, no really - though randomly someone mixed in Sebastian Stan's ability on the piano with Bucky and it hit all sorts of my buttons. Music therapy is a legit thing, and I'd be intrigued to see it used for Bucky.
BTW, I'm totally OK with bringing in some of the Avengers or even the AoS crew if it floats your boat! Clint is a particular fave, and I ship the hell out of him and Coulson. I do ask no Loki, and no Steve/Tony if you decide not to go the Bucky/Steve route. Other than Clint/Coulson, I tend to lean toward the cannon het ships with Marvel.
4. Pacific Rim – Hercules Hansen
I enjoyed basically the entire cast of this movie, but really Herc’s the most important part here for me, or at least right now for this exchange. Something about Max Martini just kept my attention no matter who was on screen with him, and considering the gorgeous cast, that’s saying a helluva lot. That said, I would LOVE some het-smut for him if you fancy that as there is very little to be found for him. Pairing wise, I’m good with Angela (everybody lives much? *grin*), Mako, or even trio’d up with the Kaidanosky couple and/or Mako and Raleigh together. Hell, I’d be thrilled with a semi-anonymous OC too!
Just make him the focus of attention please.
5. Labyrinth – Jareth (Labyrinth), Sarah Williams
Oh holy seeing this fandom available makes me grin like a loon. Nostalgia film for the win. Seriously, I can’t even begin to come up with a prompt for this. I would love anything. Flat out anything. Shippy or otherwise, though really, with Jareth, even gen fics tend to be a bit sassy and flirty even if the romance never takes place LOL.
6. Sanctuary – Henry Foss, Ashley Magnus
This show was just a laundry list of all the things I love best in fic, from the badass ladies, to the cryptids/Abnormals, to the Steampunk details showing up in Helen’s history and all of Henry’s tech. Just too much fun!
This is definitely another one where I ship it like Fedex. All through the first season I hoped this pairing might end up happening. Henry was so blatantly crushing on his young buddy, but never pushed at her, and I really liked that aspect to their relationship. Plus I thought they made a really interesting partnership with her being the one physically stronger at first glance, but only because he chose not to embrace the physical side of his shape shifting. Plus courtship through fun weaponry just made me smile like a loon.
I’d been good with a pre-Ashley’s abduction fic or an AU where she survived or was found alive. Mostly I just want to see these two being adorable together.
Don’t be too intimidated by the overly-shippy prompt though. I’d be great with Abnormal Hunter!Bros with these two, as well.
