Stolen from [livejournal.com profile] jedibuttercup

Make up a title for a story I didn't write, and I will respond with descriptions of those non-written
(and not-to-be-written) stories. You may, if you like, include details, such as pairings or fandom or whatnot.

So of course I'm going to pounce back. What Pacific Rim story have you never written, your choice of character(s), with the title "an endless road to rediscover", because that song is so stuck in my head right now? :)

Whoot! *does dance* LOL

And oddly enough (though appropriate as it's the story that will never be written), this would probably be a Chuck centric story. Which is bizarre because he really was not a fave of mine in the movie, but that song really fits him I think. Probably not a pairing fic - mostly a repairing of relationships fic.

"Chuck really thought he was a goner this time. He thought that most times, to be honest; he was just too damned stubborn to admit that to anyone outside of the Drift. IHis father never did call him on the fatalistic attitude outloud, and frankly that was the way Chuck liked it. Stacker didn't bring it up either during that last drop down to hell, but then, his commander hadn't shared his little plan with Chuck either. Took talent to hide something of that magnitude in the Drift. If he wasn't so pissed off to miss his heroic end, Chuck would probably be impressed by the old soldier.

With just one punch to the eject button, Chuck suddenly realizes he hasn't died after all. It's a pain in the ass getting through Medical what with the case of radiation poisoning and bangs and bruises from the pod, but the physical recovery is nothing compared to the emotional hell he's about to go through.

Everyone is, for the first time since he doesn't know when, genuinely thrilled to see him. Chuck is not prepared for this shit."

He may not have been my favorite character in the movie, but he left a huge hole for the characters who are left; and it was part of the sting of the cost, losing not only the authority figure but also the youngest pilot, the one with the most potential in front of him.

This would be a really interesting story to read. I feel like there's a lot of untold tales with his childhood crossing Mako's, and why he was so upset with Raleigh, and his history with his dad since they lost his mom.

Thank you!

What totally fluffy Avengers fanfic, featuring Captain America, have you never written under the title "If Not, Then What?"

Oh jeebus anything with Cap right now is all Bucky all the time for me. So this would like be super fluffy of him trying to figure out if he's not a weapon, then what is he. My brain is going very cracky thanks to late night and lots of caffiene, but I can see the slightly childlike version of him we see in between bloodshed in the movie trying everything from floral arrangement to dance instructor, and Steve and the others just going along with it because really who are they to tell a former asassin what he can and cannot do if it isn't actually hurting anybody? LOL

Oh, I love this! (And my also very-cracky-thanks-to-finals brain totally read that as Bucky BEING the flower arrangement, not MAKING it.) And so much yes to the last sentence!
