Though no, grav_ity it probably won't be the Hobbit Black Jewels trilogy AU as that's going WAY too epic for the amount of writing time I will have.

I'm actually thinking after some musing that I might love to do something in a fairy tale/fantasyish AU with fun epistolary elements? Just which fandom and pairing is tripping me up. It will be nice and different from the stuff I'm editing.

Mwahahahahaha! And yes! Definitely do something different that you haven't tried before. That's kind of what I'm doing. I've never really done super creepy, spooky before and I'd like to see if I can. I have PLANS and an OUTLINE already.

Honestly, I have a really hard time setting things in the modern world without throwing in crazy paranomal stuffs, and I don't know that I'd want to in that world - it's already so much fun on it's own, you know? Plus, I was more in it for the M/F bromances than the romances. Walsh and Beaumont are darling, but it makes my brain want to write gen buddy cop moments if anything, and that wouldn't work for HetBang.

:sighs: Fair enough. I like all four couples, but I too wasn't there for the romance. I was there for the everything. Of course, I'm usually writing relationships between people rather than just straight up romance when it comes to meatier fics, so I guess I'm rather gennish anyway. Hm.

Yeah it would have been far more gen for me if I wrote it. Snippets I can do sexy, but long fic tends to be hard for me to do for that show.

And yeah there definitely seems to be possibilities. I had NO IDEA where the plot will go, but I have a beginning and rough world in mind. I am totally playing fast and loose with canon relationships (I think I'm making Peggy the old Queen who's children were Steve and Bucky which I know will weird some people out, but Steve/Maria will get to be a thing, and Natasha will be their 'Advisor" and Sam will be their captain of the guard for that kingdom, and then Phil will be Duke Regent after childless King Nicholas is killed in a war, and since he and his lover Clint never had children, he adopts 2 daughters from the orphaned nobles after said war (Skye as heir and Jemma as spare) and ends up proposing a marriage alliance with Bucky and Jemma to strengthen the alliance that formed during the war... or something). If I plan it right, it can be all epistolary courtship for a good half the fic before Bucky even actually enters the picture.
