Het BigBang? Advice & Question

Hey all!

So not that I NEEDED another fic/project to work on, but due to seren_ccd pimping out het_bigbang , I now kinda want to do it!

Long story short: write a brand new 25k long het pairing centric fic in any fandom, including crossovers and AUs, by September 25th. As far as the word count/deadline.. this I can do, yes? Assuming the muse behaves and I don't go crazy in the process. I'm not sure yet if it's strictly cannon charas or if OCs are welcome, but I've written both so I don't think that would be too much of a problem either way. And sadly (or not so sadly really but still a limit on the crazyness), it has to be focused on the pairing instead of just a gen fic. Which thankfully does cut out at least some of the mega list of plot bunnies running around in my head.

In any case: do yall think I should join in on the insanity or no?

Also, what fandom do yall think I should dive into for it? God knows I have a massive freaking list I've written in.

Here are my current semi plot bunnies I could maybe pick up depending on the OC issue:

Pitch Black/ COR verse:  Reaper!Vaako/Kyra fic.. sequel to No Due Time http://www.fanfiction.net/s/5440247/1/No_Due_Time

Magnificent 7 or Possibly Mag7 Zompieapocalypse Verse if the darling alex_kade  will let me play in her verse and give me enough back story to make it worth while lol: Chris/Mary or Ezra/Inez perhaps. Either that or I've got a thought for a Chrisish/OC fic in my brain.

Pitch Black/Firefly crossover: Riddick/River. If only for the sheer insanity, though how I'd bring these two together could be exciting.

RED: William Cooper/Mrs. Cooper. Possibly a fic about him tryign to win her back after she leaves him after the film due to you know.. lots of men breaking into their home with guns lol.. and lord knows I'd throw in the rest of the gang somehow just to make it interesting.

Other than those, my muse is up in the air. If you've got a het pairing you want to see in a fandom you know I read/write in and just want to request for the hell of it. Let me know.. it just might end up on my list lol.

Oh my god. Those all sound AMAZEBALLS. But, due to the serious lack and how much I LOVE the idea: my vote is for RED with Will and Mrs. Cooper. Oh, yeah. I think she must be this amazing person and he is so crazy about her and actually depends on her for so much. Whoa. Yeah, now that I think about it, YOU HAVE TO DO THIS. Even if not for this, AT SOME POINT YOU MUST DO THIS.

And I really really really want to write the RED one at some point for sure, but after pondering a bit, I'm a little afraid that it's just a little far out of my realm of experience just yet. I've never been married or had kids, so I'm worried I might not portray either as well as I'd want to. It will eventually be written, I just don't think just yet.

That said, what was your other fave? (I think so far I've had differnt votes from everyone I've asked so I'm trying to narrow it down some lol)

Awwwww, you actually want to use ZP already? Lol, that makes me feel giddy. You really liked it that much? I'm all for that, but if it's for a challenge then you might want to go with something that people are familiar with. I haven't posted my verse anywhere yet so folks would be going 'Wtf is this?' Lol. Of course, I guess I could start posting what I already have so people have some clue...And if you have all the way 'til September (is that really right? long deadline!), I should have a good chunk of that story done or maybe all the way finished by then. Whatever you want, though, by all means feel free to play in my verse if you want. :)

Yeah it's gonna be a lot of fun. I think I am going to wait to play in it though now that I've thought about it.. if only cuz I don't even know all the ends and outs of the verse, and I'd rather seen how the pilot and first couple "eps" come together before setting a long fic there.

Probably wise, lol. I did start my Mother's Day story the other day, btw. It's not gonna be done by today, though. Sorry! I'm working on it! Read yours, though, really like it. :) It wasn't as angsty as you made it sound, more touchy-feely and "awwwww." Lol. :) Mine's just silliness. ;) I'll get it up as soon as it's done!

Yeah no worries about the due date my dear. Since it's now over at 7m1d, it can't actually have a due date anyway lol. But yeah, be sure to post your response over there!

Team Tanner!?! Gasp! You're the enemy! Gotta be careful what I say around you, spy! Lol. :) Glad you could come play with us. I like the community, already having tons of fun with it. I know people on both teams from fanfic.net so it's a good group of people either way.

Ahahahah yeah I am the enemy! I'm mildly sad though.. there apparently used to be a Team Larabee and now there's not.. le sigh lol

And yeah, it seems like it's going to be a blast. I've already started my fic for the Brothers challenge. Time to combine 2 of my favorite fandoms that I've never or rarely written in. What could be better?

Maybe there'll be enough new members to start up a Team Larabee again. I would have gone for that as second choice if there was one. :) I'm actually scared about this challenge! I tend not to do so hot with shorts and drabbles, I have to much to say! Lol, but I'll make it work I guess. The other issue is that the story I want to do I'm afraid someone else might do. I have another crossover in mind that I don't think anybody would do, but the plot for that one wouldn't be as strong....not sure what to go with. The almost assured "I don't think anyone else will do this character combo" or the one that's speaking to me more but someone else might have a similar idea about...

Yeah I know right? I have no idea how suddenly the series is booming again, but I freaking love it!

And yeah, it's HIGHLY possible that someone will do the same cross that I'm planning, but it's in my head now, and damned if I can walk away from it lol.

Whootness!! I've been leaning in that direction simply because I think it will be the most focused on the shipperyness. Plus mayhem, Riddick, and probably violently ending Dame Vaako.. cuz yeah lol

And I have actually attempted Reaper!Vaako in the past in a oneshot.. so I feel quite comfy with his angsty twisted sexyness. And the eyeliner. lol
