...ahem so yeah, if you were expecting a coherent journal you came to the wrong place, kittens.  Today, today is Caity gushing over Steampunk day. Why? Because I can. lol

Yeah, I'm just mildy obsessed with the whole genre and style of steampunk and have been for years. I had yet to find a pair of boots to my liking that actually fit me though, and thus the squeeage! *is conveniently forgetting that she caved and bought a black pair from a costume site literally 3 hours ago*   I've made jewelry/accessories, done a wild variety of stock photography in half a dozen personas for everything from a Steam Bride to a a goofy junk dealer to an airship mechanic, and even have decorated my new house with relatively Victorian styled furniture. *beams* What can I say? Clockwork and corsets just make me grin. Hard.

That said, I am now desperately in the mood to write steamy style ficlets and so am offering drabble requests! I'm up for anything from my FakeTV Ticking Heart to a steampunk AU version of one of my fandoms, to even a request from a steampunk inspired show/movie that you like but I haven't talked about before. Trust me: there's a good bet I've watched it or am trying to find it lol.  So yeah! Bring on the requests!

...so I've rethought the title of this journal and am now aware that it looks like I'm offering porn drabbles. But I'm not. So there. Or... er... only if they're STEAMPUNK porn drabbles. So there.

Goodwill FTW! I've gotten so much good Steampunk stuff from there! (and antique shops, of course!) Took apart my very first BIG clock on Tuesday (not a Grandfather, but a rather large wall hanging clock. up til now I've only gotten my hands on wind-ups). Best thing I've ever destroyed, lol. So many cool gadgets inside! Had myself a lil Tinker joygasm over it, lol. OH! I didn't show you my dress for the Emmys! The jacket part is still in the works, but the dress is done! My friend Andy down in CA made it based off my design and with a few lil tricks of his own. :)

Yeah most of my steamy wardrobe has come from there... damn near everything but the corsets now that I think about it lol!

And oooo the joy of creative demolition.. nothing like it!

And that looks lovely my dear!! Totally excited to see a bigger pic when you can get one. The details look like they'll be fantastic!

As in, you're going to write me one? Sure!!!! I loves pretty steamy ficlets, lol. Hmmm....what should I ask for, though??? I mean, we all know I loves M7 and you might have enough info on my AU JD if you wanna play with him, but he's still got some tricks up his sleeves I haven't revealed yet... lol. Anything with The Losers is always good, or I do so adore Riley from National Treasure. I don't know what all fandoms you write for! Ah, hell, just surprise me with something. ;)
