Free Psychics:

Nick Grant as played by Chris Evans

Nick used to be loyal to no one but himself. His entire goal in life was nothing but keeping his head down and avoiding Division as long as psychically possible.

That all changed the day a young Watcher wearing a skirt miles too short and colored crap in her hair barged in through his front door and into his life.

That girl altered the path of his life, and the woman she’s become is the one person he cannot live without. But now Division’s got her, and damned if Nick can stand to leave her there.

Cassie Holmes as played by Dakota Fanning

Cassie’s not your normal teen, and she and those few who love her are fine with that. Her gifts have gotten them out of more than one tight spot, after all.

Too bad her gifts have actually got her friends into a few of those tight spots lately. Never mind that, though – her friends and family know what Division’s capable of forcing a psychic to do.

Too bad Division still hasn’t quite figured out what their pet psychics are really capable of.

Cassie’s going home one way or another. She knows it.

Anna Holmes as played by Sigourney Weaver

Anna Holmes once told her daughter she held the keys to time. It was a fairy tale, only not. A dream more than anything else. If anything time locked her up and threw away the keys a long time ago.

How did Division catch her? Well, her daughter may never forgive her for it – but she let them take her. It was the only way to take Division down.

Because it was the only way her daughter and Nick would meet. And it would take them both, and the psychics they would gather around them, to set the destruction of the Divisions world wide in motion. Starting with the U.S. branch.

Alexandra “Lex” Gomez as played by Michelle Rodriguez

Lex is a Spark, which is just a quick and dirty way of saying a pyrokinetic, a psychic with a connection and ability to control fire and heat. Needless to say, fire is at her fingertips, baby, and you best believe she’s damned good with it.

Unfortunately, Sparks don’t always live long – they burn out from the outside in if they’re not careful.

As it happens, Lex isn’t careful, and her humanity is hanging by a thread. But that’s alright by her. She’s ready to go out with a bang, just a long as she can take out some Division assholes when she does.

Mitchell Bryce as played by Oded Fehr

Bryce is a Shadow with attitude to spare and exquisite control. It’s not just how well he shades a thing, it’s the pieces he allows to see the light of day that really impress the folks back home. He can shade a man so well a sniff walks by at 5 yards without a clue, but they’ll notice and compliment the watch said man is wearing.

That’s all changed now. He got a call from his cousin, Hook, just before he was taken by the Division. Hook had asked a favor, one that at the time, Bryce had been less than enthused about. He’s always been good enough at what he does that he’s kept off the Division radar for most of his life. If he helps Nick with his insane little endeavor, that will likely draw a bit more attention than from Division than he’s comfortable. But then –  Hook is still in Division hands. This could be worthwhile.

And in any case, he owes the elder Ms. Holmes a favor, and Mitchell pays his depts.

He always pays his depts.

Emily Hu as played by Ming-Na

If you’d asked her five years ago when a ragged pair of psychics showed up on her doorstep looking for a bead and wound up running her life through the wringer, Emily would have said she never wanted to see that pair of trouble makers again.

But instead, those two have somehow crawled under her skin. It helps, she thinks, that the pair of them are clearly devoted, both to each other, and to the freedom of psychics the world over. She’s just not sure they’ve realized it yet.

Until they do, she’ll keep close to this new little band of insanity and do what she can to Sniff out any threat against them and their future. And try to keep Nick out of trouble, for Cassie’s sake.

Hook Waters as played by Cliff Curtis

Hook liked Nick Grant well enough prior to the debacle in Hong Kong. He liked the Mover even more after. You don’t meet a lot of honorable men running from Division. The chase itself tends to beat that trait out of most psychics, or so Hook has often thought.

But Nick has been changed by his decision to protect and aid the young Miss Holmes. It’s a change Hook respects, and once his respect is earned… Well so is his loyalty.

Even if it does, occasionally, get him into trouble with their enemies.

Matthew Grace as played by Tom Felton

Matt has terrible luck. Not only is his last name “Grace” which was hell in primary school, but he’s a psychic. Worse yet he’s a geek of a psychic. He can communicate with computers and electronics, talk to them the same way he talks to family and friends. He’s a Tech, or technopath as goes the official terminology or so he was told that one time he was in Division hands for an hour or so. He managed to get away fairly easy – the fools put him behind electronically locked doors. Not too bright, those Division sniffs.

So yeah, considering the ease of his escape, it’s nice little talent he’s got, but he’s prefer something more heroic, you know? Something that might actually impress the ladies.

Still, Matt’s a little surprised to realize he’s not helping Nick to impress anybody. Not even the utterly lovely and painfully attached Cassie Holmes.

No, it’s not about impressing her or the team or anyone else. It’s just the right thing to do.

We’ll have to forgive him if he doesn’t realize just how impressive that fact actually is.

Division Agents:

Agent Kira Hollis/ Kira Hudson as played by Camilla Belle

Kira may be the most powerful Pusher on record, but she doesn’t really know who she is anymore. She does know she works for the Division. She must work there, because those who don’t are kept drugged and in hospital gowns instead of wearing a suit and carrying a weapon. That’s not to say she’s not a prisoner there, in the prison of her own mind kept under the lock and key of Wipe and Push.

Just because she’s powerful doesn’t mean she can’t be used.

Agent Nadia Rose as played by Zoe Saldana

Nadia is an electrokinetic, lightning in a bottle in a little black dress. E-kinetics are rare, rare enough they don’t even rate a code name in the international Division lingo. They’re rare mostly because they die even earlier than Sparks half the time. There’s a theory among the scientific community that the elemental psychics are by their own natures simply more difficult to control and have greater difficulty controlling their gifts.

If that is the rule, Nadia is the exception. She’s loyal, obedient, and has never lashed out with her gift. At least now without absolutely intending to do so.

Agent Michael Davis as played by Ryan Reynolds

The Division sucks, and Mike will be the first to admit it. That doesn’t mean he’s dumb enough to stand against them. He has seen the way things end up for the idiots who try to run or hide from the side of might and government funding.

So you know, he works for them. It’s not hard for a Stitch to get a job around here either, what with the un-willing guests getting drugged with this and tortured for that on a regular basis. It’s not the most rewarding of day jobs, perhaps, but the pay’s not bad.

He is glad they don’t seem to expect him to carry a gun, though. He’s more than willing to admit his place is as far from the front lines as he can get. He’s a lover, not a fighter as he’ll be quick to tell any female within a hundred yards.
