Holiday Wishlist 2015

It’s that time again! Bring on the holiday wishlist – let me know if you think you can fill any of these, and please link your wishlists here too! I don’t want to miss any of my friends’ lists :)
Step One:
Make a post. It can be public or friends only, whatever you're most comfortable with. The post should contain your list of ten holiday wishes, and these wishes can be anything - from simple (fan fiction written about your favorite pairing), to medium (a DVD you want), to really extravagant (a brand new laptop or car).
Just make sure these are wishes for things you really truly want.
Step Two:
Skim through your friends list and see who has posted their own wish lists. Then - and this is the most important part - if you find a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make sure that person’s wish comes true.
Sometimes a person's trash is another person’s treasure. If you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you’re never going to use, give it to someone who wants it.
Step Three:
Post this wish list any time after November 1st. Then repost it two weeks before Christmas.
You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday fairy - to spread the joy.
Gifts can be made anonymously or not, it's your call.
There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.
Some of these are repeats, but they’re things I enjoy all the time and can never get enough of, so don’t worry if think I might have already gotten it!
In no particular order:
1. Mail! I seriously heart mail as I've said before. I'd love to just get a holiday card or even a random letter. Opening my mailbox and having something that's NOT a bill just makes my day. Message me if you don’t have my address and want to send something.
2. Anything little fun and fandom related from fics to vids to gifsets to LJ banners or icons. Visual pretties are love. Particular faves at the moment are Mad Max: Fury Road, Pacific Rim, Jupiter Ascending, MCU/SHIELD (though I’ve only seen season 1 of SHIELD – Jemma/Bucky is my odd rare pair for that right now lol) Riddick, Firefly, 28 Weeks Later, Aliens, Terminator (original). Generally I’m a hetter at heart with a few exceptions (Clint/Coulson, Bilbo/Thorin & Derek/Stiles – with alwaysagirl Stiles and Bilbo as a bonus), but otherwise I’m game for a wide variety of het couples in the above fandoms. You can also toss stuff in my fandom stocking and I'll be thrilled! http://fandom-stocking.dreamwidth.org/553392.html
3. Stones/crystals – while they are tied to my spirituality, I honestly just love little semi-precious stones to hold in my hand or wire-wrap for jewelry. Faves include sodalite, lapis lazuli, malachite, labradorite, moonstone, and selenite. They make me happy!
4. Tarot decks - I apparently collect them to eventually pass on. I usually have 3-4 sets but I'm down to only 2 right now and it's kinda weird! I don't mind used/pre-owned decks either as I can charge them to me pretty easily. Oh! And I'm up for just about any style, but NOT the Sacred Rose deck as it hates me.
5. I just realized my journal subscription and icon subscription is out, so I’m adding this to the list. If anyone would like to gift me a subscription, that would be awesome. Not a necessary thing, but I figured I’d put it up here since it’s something I want eventually lol.
6. Fuzzy and soft socks and or fingerless gloves and or arm warmers. This is probably going to be permanently on my wish list, I’ve decided. I seriously use them all year long. I’ve got poor circulation, so my feet are always cold, and my hands ache even worse than usual the colder they get. So yeah, this will be a wonderful thing to receive in my mailbox!
7. Umm, DVD or blu-ray box sets for either Teen Wolf, MI5, Agents of SHIELD, Peggy Carter, or The 100 (any season as I don’t have any of these yet.) I know this is a bigger gift so I’m not expecting it – we’re just supposed to wish big right?
8. Similar set, the music junkie in me has been craving any Pentatonix, Mad Max: Fury Road or Lord of the Rings or Hobbit soundtracks would be fabulous. Any of these would make me smile like a loon.
9. Anything compass rose, clock, or 8-pointed star pretties. Once again, this goes on every year. I don’t actually need icons with compass roses any more thanks to a wish list about a year ago (thank you Urbancate darling!) but little pendants or maybe journal banners would be awesome. Or a pretty connected theme now that I think about it, I’d be game for really anything steampunk. No really, pretty much anything steampunk styled would make me happy from icons to images to jewelry to costume items that you don’t want any more than I could deconstruct/reconstruct into fun costume wear. It just makes me happy!
10. Finally, I will never have enough books. Ever. LOL. Any kind of fun sci-fi/fantasy, steampunk, or paranormal would be right up my alley. I’ve been reading a lot of YA, so any of those genres in that age category would be welcome along with adult. I love physical copies to add to my TBR mountain, but I’ve got a Kindle too, so either version would rock. I trust my F-list’s reading tastes, so I’m not even going to request specific authors at this point. Just send me what you think I’d like! Even recs would rock if you can’t send me the book itself.
