Your main fandom of the year?
Man, hell if I know. If you know me, you know I bounce like a crazy from fandom to fandom. I don't even have one that I really write on more than any other. My faves though were Star Trek 2009, Doom, King Arthur, Pitch Black/CoR, Firefly, The Mummy, Resident Evil (even though it's recent lol), The Losers... hmm those probably are my faves.. at least for the moment lol.
Your favorite film watched this year?
Gonna go with my favorite new film that I've seen this year; cuz lord knows I watch a ton. And I think it's actually going to be RED. Totally freaking blast of a movie AND the scrumptious Karl was in it getting the shit kicked out of him by Bruce Willis. So that was awesome lol.
Your favorite book read this year?
Ummm, gah. So hard for me considering how many I read, ya know? I liked The Search by Nora Roberts, and Tamora Pierce's new one Bloodhound definitely rocked too!
Your favorite album(s) or song to listen to this year?
The new Rob Thomas is on repeat for me, as are Sarah Bareilles and Linkin Park. I'd love to get Taylor Swift as well... just haven't gotten around to it.
Your favorite TV show(s) of the year?
Let's see: Burn Notice, Criminal Minds, NCIS, Dollhouse, Firefly, Sanctuary, Supernatural, Primeval (not in that order necessarily lol). And of course, I'm way behind on all of them, but that's what DVDs are for. :)
Your favorite LJ community of the year?
I am a horrible LJ person and practically ignored the whole community thing this year. Oops?
Your best new fandom discovery of the year?
Resident Evil. Hands down. I know I'm WAY late to that particular party, but I'm definitely a firm follower now. I mean really: any fandom that had Milla Jovovich, Michelle Rodriguez, Oded Fehr and rumors of Jensen Ackles? Oh yeah. And a fandom with all of the above and an ungodly amount of delightful weaponry? Hell yeah..
Your biggest squee moment of the year?
Hmmm strangely enough I'm having a hard time coming up with an answer to this one. It's not that I haven't had any decent squee moments.. just none are coming to mind. Guess I'll update this if something jumps out at me.
The most missed (times) of your fandom?
Handle ID: Angel, my Doom fic was such a joy to finish and I met awesome peoples in that fandom and it was just too awesome. But it's done, and I'm trying to avoid starting the prequel or Reaper!Bones sequel due to how long they both would be so... who knows.
The fandom you haven't tried yet, but want to?
I'm assuming we're talking having tried fic for right? Probably The Mummy or Resident Evil. Either way Oded Fehr has re-joined my list of fantasy men with a vengeance. That said, does anyone wasn't a short drabble ficlet for either fandom? That might be a fun way to feed the bunnies without getting eaten by another massive fic lol.
Your biggest fan anticipations for the New Year?
Supernatural will FINALLY be finished as a series, and my happy butt will so TOTALLY have a week long marathon for that one. Who needs sleep when you can watch Jensen Ackles run amoc?
As far as personal fan anticipations: I really REALLY am going to finish as many of my massive list of fanfic WIPs as I can. The end to Hawk Visions is in sight; I just need to make some headway on the others.
