hiddencaitYes, I know.. I have no excuse. What can I say: I warned yall the muse was a fickle little so and so.. that's half the reason we love him!
Anyway, so yeah, after diving head first into the fandom, I was totally depressed to find that it's seriously shallow in regards to Ripley/Hicks fics... so clearly, I need to just give in and write some of my own.
I'm going to go into the Big Bang pretty much blind, but here's a very VERY rough plot idea so far: The survivors on the Sulaco attempt to build a family in the midst of physical, mental, and emotional pain. Add in possible Company pissyness and the alien ship that maybe wasn't destroyed in the blast. Cue h/c angst, eyesmexing, and possible action scenes.
Let me know what you think, and also, if you know of any awesome Ripley/Hicks Icons or fics, PLEASE pass them on! I will love you forever!!

Oh! BTW, I will work on the Reaper!Vaako fic eventually.. the muse just decided this is coming first.
