Dear FFFX Writer,

You are amazing. I want to tell you that up front, because you are.

Please don’t stress about this assignment. Just the fact that you are writing for any of these fandoms in the first place will make me ridiculously happy. Also, I love gifts in general, so I’ll be chuffed to get a prize of any shape and size. I know this letter is ridiculously long as again I love these fandoms and tend to babble, but don’t let that scare you off. Honestly, I just wanted to give you as much detail as possible to hopefully help get your inspiration flowing since holy crap you signed up to write a LOT of words for me!

The only thing I do ask is that my No-Thanks list be avoided.

No thanks:  Infertility/miscarriage, prostitution, noncon, dubcon, requested character major character death, infidelity, love triangles/jealousy focus (I am far more fond of OT3ing it up), characters de-aged/aged back up during the story, A/B/O, gangster/mob, noir settings, Modern AUs that remove canon SFF elements, amnesia, loss of limb/amputations, mpreg, underage/adult, gender swap, teacher/student, drug abuse/alcoholism, or incest. Please no 2nd person or 1st person POVs unless in epistolary/letters format.  

For M-rated fics, please no knife/blood/gun play (only in a sexual context – canon level plot/action violence is fine), humiliation in a D/S dynamic, age or pet play, scat, watersports, rape-as-fantasy-scenes, anal for M/F pairings, and any kind of direct blow in a sexual situation, including spanking/flogging.

Yes Please: Post-apocalypse, slice of life/domestic/curtainfic, epistolary stories, found family, crossovers with characters ending up at the Gertrude Hunt of Ilona Andrews’ Innkeeper Chronicles series, AUs (particularly zombie apocalypse, Black Jewels verse, daemons, steampunk/neo-Victorian, Sentinel/Guide, Old West, and Pacific Rim fusion), outsider POVs, supernatural elements like hauntings/werewolves/fae/etc., badass chicks and men who respect/lust after them for it, competency kink, fixit fics, stranded together/huddling together for warmth, and 5 and 1 style fics.

For M-rating fics, I particularly love dirty talk, Dom/Sub dynamic (service Dom and/or service Sub a plus), Dom ordering their Sub around, restraint i.e.: shibari/handcuffs/holding partner down, wall sex, shower sex, cramped vehicular sex, biting/marking (without major blood being drawn), mate bonds, “OMG we didn’t die” sex, and “sharing body heat” leading to sex.

Optional Re Crossovers: I also wanted to specifically mention that crossovers between any of my requested fandoms would be awesome if that’s your thing.

Just FYI, for all of these, I requested both fanfic lengths below. I will totally be happy with either option – seriously, so don’t stress too much about that. If you do go the 2 5k fics route, I am game for completely different fandoms/characters, different unrelated stories for the same fandom/character, or even associated one-shots in a series or something for the same fandom/character. Honestly, whatever you need to do to complete the gift(s) will be awesome!

Daniel Jackson

Oh Daniel my darling Daniel-in-Distress, I SWEAR LOL Just FYI, I headcanon him as demisexual (on the ace spectrum and unlikely to feel sexual attraction until an emotional connection is made), so including that would be a bonus, but is not necessary. For pairings, I am game for almost any het except Sam Carter (though bring on the BroTP for the Science Twins!), Replicator Sam Carter, Hathor, or Osiris. I really love crossover pairings for him, actually, including Hermione Granger (of legal age), Faith Lehane, & Darcy Lewis, but I’m always willing to see new het crossover pairings for him. I’m a multi-shipper for sure, so I’m willing to be surprised – especially if it’s characters from some of the other fandoms here. Just please avoid noncom/dubcon for him. Also, note: If you are a M/M shipper for him, please just got the gen route.  Prompts: 1) Give Daniel a Good DayTM – bless him I don’t think the man has really RESTED since the series started, even after coming back from the dead multiple times. Just give him something relaxing and domestic and non-life threatening please lol. 2) Academia woes! We know he has all the PhDs ever & generally you need to publish or attend conferences etc to keep up your identity in the academic world. I know the Stargate Program makes this… exciting to manage. So how does he do so? Feel free to bring in Sam or some of the other researchers with this one – though I prefer not to get an AU if you do so. 3) Unless of course you want to go the Hogwarts Professors route – in which case, what would Daniel teach? How annoyed is he with the workload, teaching etc? He just seems like he would work well there LOL 4) For any crossover pairing – just how/where he and the LI encounter each other is always fun to read. 5) Another shippy option: Sha’re!Lives AU – how is she saved or is she never taken? What would the pair of them be like with the SGC in that case? Would he or she be on a team or would they have a more on-site role? I would want them with the SGC tho as opposed to just on Abydos.

 

Daniel Jackson & Jonas Quinn

While I was thrilled we got Daniel back, I really enjoyed the hell out of Jonas and especially Jonas and Daniel on screen together. They were just peak competent, enthusiastic geeks with their hearts on their sleeves and I love that about them. Their dynamic the few times we got to have both of them in an episode was such a blast to me, I’d love to see some kind of AU where Jonas remained with the SGC and they got to be friends and the Science!Twins were Science!Triplets lol. Definitely prefer gen here BTW over shipping them. Black Sails

Abigail Ashe/Billy Bones
Let’s be honest, if you decided to write for this pairing, then you probably are already on this little rowboat of a ship with me and don’t need my spiel about these two in particular. So how about some prompts instead? 1. AU where Billy really is someone she might have known back in England. Bookish Abigail keeps buying journals & stationary at the same printer’s shop for reasons, and society ends up scandalized when the daughter of a governor forms an attachment to the son of a Leveler. 2. Billy courting Abigail be in in an AU in England or in Nassau. Is he good at it? Is he rubbish at it? Is he so painfully adorable that we (and Abigail) don’t care either way? 3. Modern AU firefighter!Billy. I’ll admit I’ve written a fill for this prompt before, but I just don’t think there can be enough of it LOL. 4. Really just Abigail climbing Billy like a tree because smut is always acceptable.

 

Abigail Ashe/Charles Vane
Abigail was raised a gentlewoman but clearly a little bloodthirsty and less intimidated by pirates than she should be and that just DESTROYS ME. Her response to Vane of “Good” will never fail to be delightfully chilling, and I can see that steel in her definitely catching Charles’s attention. Without Eleanor there to blind him with their tumultuous history and sexual attention, I can see that bit of intrigued growing into a grudging respect and later into attraction. However you get them back in the same location, whether the crew finds Abigail during the sacking of Charles Town and takes her with them on the ship or if she finds her way to Nassau due to her reputation being ‘ruined’ in the eyes of society – I’m really not picky on the details. I just want to see these two together. Also pirate!Abigail would definitely be something I’d enjoy for this pairing for sure!

 

Abigail Ashe/Billy Bones/Charles Vane
What can I say: my answer to any ships where I can see multiple pairings/connections of the same few folks is, of course, to just trio them all together! And hey Black Sails is a canon threesomes fandom so I think adding another OT3 just makes it even better, don’t you? All I really ask is that Abigail not be sidelined while Billy and Charles get together/are together. A couple at the start that then adds the third in before the end of the story is great - but I really want the trio as the focus. Otherwise, no specific details for this one, though I do have one prompt I’ve been craving forever: The Walking Dead AU, preferably in the Modern universe since I’ve gotten a GLORIOUS Black Sails era zombie fic previously! I have no idea why that specific scenario sounds so fun for this trio; it just does. All other characters as survivors definitely welcome just as long as these three are the chore of the story.  

 

Harry Potter
Pairing: Hermione Granger/Viktor Krum
Prompts: My fave pairing for this fandom, no lie! I’d love epistolary romances for these two complete with letters if that’s your thing, or Canon AUs where they end up together either earlier in the series or after the war. Intelligent and athletic Viktor being utterly smitten with the brilliant woman he sees in Hermione. (Note: I do headcanon Viktor as 17 during the Tournament and Hermione being almost 16 due to her early birthday making her a year older than her year mates AND the essentially extra year she lived thanks to the time turner. I am not game for a 14 year old and an 18 year old.) No Harry bashing please - I like his and Hermione's friendship too much for that. Ron bashing is at your discretion.

 

Crossover Fandoms

Daniel Jackson/Faith Lehane
Confession: Daniel Jackson is pretty much my little black dress across MULTIPLE fandoms at this point though I rarely remember to request him oddly enough LOL. So he will be in several of these requests LOL. But to start off: I’ve seen some awesome Buffy/SG1 crossovers, but lately realized I’ve seen very few (if any) with my all time fave Buffy character, Faith Lehane. I think she and Daniel could be a very intriguing pairing for sure, and there are so many ways for Faith to be thrown in to Daniel’s path on this world or another.

 

Daniel Jackson/Darcy Lewis
Hey look it’s one of my OTHER multi-fandom little black dresses in the snarky and fabulous Darcy Lewis. I love that she speaks fluent sarcasm, can translate for researchers into real people speech (I have done this in my day jobs so I know how hard it actually is LOL), and bonus is impressively unflappable when dealing with otherworldly beings and shenanigans. Seriously, Darcy would be an asset to SGC – just possibly not one everyone would recognize the value of up front. But Daniel – he tends to notice potential in people even if he is easily distracted by his work. I’d love to see Darcy pull him out of the shell he’s built around himself romantically, much like Vala did in the series… only with more attention to Daniel actually CONSENTING which Vala seemed to steamroll lol.

 

The Carnahan-O’Connell Family (The Mummy Movies) & The Addams Family (The Addams Family Movies)

So I won’t lie, this entire request is based on this tumblr prompt: https://grumpyhellion.tumblr.com/post/635673099935825920/grumpyhellion-grumpyhellion-grumpyhellion-on  I don’t care how you make the crossover come about or what the plot is (if you even have a plot LOL) – I just want these two families meeting and having the time of their lives with each other.  I prefer them being friendly as opposed to enemies, though supposed enemies to friends would be a blast too! Overall, that tumblr post was such fun, and y’all, I feel like I could do with more similar fun in my life!
