Spoilers for both franchises ahead!!!

So I've had a rough idea for a crossover I've wanted to write for a while, but couldn't decide on anything like a plot. Basically, it would revolve around the redemption of two total badasses after they've... well... Died.

Exhibit A:
This would be Brian Gamble ala S.W.A.T. also known as Jeremy Renner all smexed up with ink and earrings. Also, he is likely to be the ONLY man I could ever consider attractive with his own name tattooed on his arm. I mean really - Jeremy's got magic forearms yall. MAGIC I TELL YOU!  As you can tell from the above pic, the dude's got some serious skills in that flick like whoa.  He's also an ass and a chauvanist, but hey - we all have flaws!

Exhibit B:
This is Letty Ortiz from the Fast & Furious films, and yes, she is STANDING ON A MOVING CAR. If that doesn't scream badass, I don't know what does. Also, her arms are almost as sexy as Renner's which is saying a whole hell of a lot me thinks. Mostly I just think Michelle Rodriguez is one of the hottest women alive and plays touch women like none other. I happen to like tough women.

So that was the rough concept I had basically with Jeremy and Michelle being hot and badass together (and possibly making cracks to the fact that Michelle was ALSO in S.W.A.T. lol, but we'll ignore that for now). However, that did not an actual story make, and certainly not enough of one for me to feel confident about pulling of 25k for [livejournal.com profile] hetbigbang.

Luckily for me, and possibly for those few of you who would actually be interested in this crossover lol, my betaluv [livejournal.com profile] askita came up with the brilliant thought that I might not actually need an insane actiony plot. While hell yes, there will be action, the story itself will be more character-centric about how these two extremely screwed up individuals figure out the whole redemption thing while ended up in a relationship at some point. With lots and lots of sex or so we all should assume lol.

But seriously yall: these two belong together. Just look:

Anyway, if you managed to look away from all the sexy, here's the drabble featuring the pair of them that I wrote a while ago - it should give a good glimpse of my possible headspace for these two!

Drive Me Mad

Gamble stretched, lining up another shot at the pool table. He laughed to himself as his crew started twitching, clearly impatient at the delay the driver was causing them. According to his contacts, this Ortiz character was one of the best; Brian didn’t mind waiting a while for decent talent.

If a while turned into too fucking long, well then that would be a different story. He’d give Ortiz at least another hour or two. Wasn’t like he was bored yet. He sank the cue ball and scowled.

OK, so he might be getting bored now. He sighed and tossed the pool cue onto the table and wandered over the window, still ignoring the mutterings from his crew.

The tale-tell rumble of a car with some serious power under the hood had him straightening to peer further out the window. A sleek machine pulled up to the club he’d taken up residence in for the moment, and he allowed himself to admire it for a moment before turning to head out to the parking lot.

“Let’s go, boys. That’s our ride.” He didn’t bother to see if they followed him or not, just strode through the crowd like he owned them. Brian might as well, hell.

He reached the lot and ambled over to the car looking for the man who must be Ortiz. Instead, a little Latina leaned against the hood checking her phone over the top of her sunglasses. He paused and looked her up and down – hot, but surely not who he was hiring.

“Can I help you?” He brought his eyes up from her breasts to her face to see she’d raised an eyebrow at him.

“Looking for Ortiz. Guess I gotta keep looking.”

She smirked and slid the glasses off. “You found her. Name’s Letty.”

He let out a laugh and scratched his head.  “Yeah, looking for the driver named Ortiz. You his?”

“I don’t belong to anyone.” She shrugged all casual, but the clench in her jaw said she wasn’t particularly pleased with him. Fuck if he cared. “And I drive. If you’ve got a job, say so. If not, quit wasting my time.”

Brian smirked again and looked from her to the car itself and back again. Then he grinned and nodded over to his own ride angled across two spaces.  “How about an audition?”

“How about I leave your ass in the dust?”

He laughed. Whether she was the driver she was rumored to be or not – this was going to be fun.

Never let it be said he’d backed down from a challenge.

Yeah... I think this needs to happen!

*grins* And oh yeah you did lol. Specifically about this too lol!

Now I have to come up with the how did they not die answers and figure out style stuff. It's prolly going to come together almost feeling one-shot series ish only with large oversweeping plot. If I can get it to work properly anyway.. maybe?
