You are amazing. I want to tell you that up front, because you are.

Please don’t stress about this assignment. Just the fact that you are writing for any of these fandoms in the first place will make me ridiculously happy. Also, I love gifts in general, so I’ll be chuffed to get a prize of any shape and size. I know this letter is ridiculously long as I tend to babble and want to offer as much inspiration as possible, but don’t let that scare you off.

Fandom: ALIENS (1986) (single request)

 

Relationship: Ellen Ripley/Dwayne Hicks

Prompts/Details: Dear lord these two and the shared respect and competency just gets me every. Single. Time. I still am pissed about the way all of the built up story and relationship was just washed down the drain with the next movie, so please feel free to erase it and start with a different post-movie time line for Ripley/Hicks, as well as Newt and Bishop. Do they manage to get away from Weyland-Yutani unscathed? Is another xenomorph found somewhere else, leading them back into the fight? Do they officially adopt Newt or do they get folded into her birth family as honorary aunt and uncle? I just want post-movie everybody!lives for this fandom. Go wild!

 

Fandom: STARGATE SG1 (three requests)

Character: Daniel Jackson
Prompts/Details: I’m surprising looking for Gen for this particular request, so a focus on found family vibes preferred over a pairing. 1) Give Daniel a Good DayTM – bless him I don’t think the man has really RESTED since the series started, even after coming back from the dead multiple times. Just give him something relaxing and domestic and non-life threatening please lol. 2) Academia woes! We know he has all the PhDs ever & generally you need to publish or attend conferences etc to keep up your identity in the academic world. I know the Stargate Program makes this… exciting to manage. So how does he do so? Feel free to bring in Sam or some of the other researchers with this one – though I prefer not to get an AU if you do so. 3) Unless of course you want to go the Hogwarts Professors route – what would Daniel teach? How annoyed is he with the workload, teaching etc? He just seems like he would work well there LOL

 

Relationship: Daniel Jackson/Sha’re

Prompts/Details: I’m ALL about Sha're lives for this request. I want to see her somehow saved and rescued to join the SGC with Daniel. How would they get her back? How would she fit in at the SGC? I would prefer an SGC setting here as opposed to Abydos, or even Atlantis could be fun! I just really want this couple alive and well and HAPPY.

 

Relationship: Daniel Jackson & Jonas Quinn

Prompts/Details: While I was thrilled we got Daniel back, I really enjoyed the hell out of Jonas and especially Jonas and Daniel on screen together. They were just peak competent, enthusiastic geeks with their hearts on their sleeves and I love that about them. Their dynamic the few times we got to have both of them in an episode was such a blast to me, I’d love to see some kind of AU where Jonas remained with the SGC and they got to be friends and the Science!Twins were Science!Triplets lol. Definitely prefer gen here BTW over shipping them. Otherwise, I’m really up for almost anything here – feel free to go wild as long as we get both of them alive and well!

 

Fandom: CROSSOVER FANDOM (single request)

 

Relationship: Richard B. Riddick (The Chronicles of Riddick Series)/River Tam (Firefly)

Prompts/Details: Here we have one of my long time fave crossover pairs. The bitty psychic killer woman and Riddick just seem like they would be each other’s brand of vicious, and I’ve loved basically everything I’ve read that pairs the two of them up (though please make her of legal age). Fusions of either movie/show verses are totally welcome as are the various characters therein. Otherwise, as long as these two respect and lust after each other, I’m in no matter how you decide to put them on each other’s radars!

 

Fandom: JUPITER ASCENDING (single request)

 

Relationship: Jupiter Jones/Caine Wise

Prompts/Details: If you are a fan of this glorious movie, you already likely know just how fun this pairing is. I love Caine’s utter devotion and Jupiter’s acceptance of him just the way he is (with a large side of lust there too). I would love post movie shenanigans for this: whether it’s Jupiter starting to claim her role in the Gyre or dealing with Kalique or her mother (a ‘meet the family’ type story re-introducing Caine to either side of the family could be great), or the practicalities of being a Space Queen while still settling on Earth. I’m also definitely game for smut for this request, with Femmedom Jupiter giving Caine orders he loves to answer as a fave trope for this fandom (though I’m not a huge knotting person). But yeah, honestly I’d love damn near anything post-movie for this as long as these two are happily in love!

 

Fandom: GUNDAM WING (two requests)

 

Relationship: Heero Yuy/Relena Peacecraft

Prompts/Details: This is one of the first fandoms I remember reading fic for, and I rewatch the series fairly regularly because something about it just hits me right in the gut in the best of ways. Heero and Relena’s dynamic was a delight – he tries so hard to be the Perfect Soldier he was engineered to be, but this fierce pacifist of a lovely young woman challenges that at every turn. I just want the two of them to find a future together whether that’s with him working in the Preventers helping to guard her or deciding to finally stop fighting and choosing to be a professor or work at an animal shelter or just something that lets him be at piece while supporting Relena as she goes about her political career. House Husband Heero getting to heal and NOT have to fight just sounds delightful. (Just FYI, I have read very little of Frozen Teardrop and it confuses the hell out of me so please ignore its existence with this fic LOLOL)

 

Relationship: Trowa Barton/Relena Peacecraft

Prompts/Details: I’m not going to lie, while the above was my long time OTP for this fandom, Trowa is my fave pilot (not only because of those suspenders in Endless Waltz – what can I say, I’m weak LOLOL). I can see Trowa’s quiet support being a boon to Relena if she didn’t end up with Heero (though I’d prefer no Heero bashing or horrible breakups here – them remaining friends who figured out they weren’t what each other needed as they grew out would work maybe?). He also offers her a great option for escape every so often, of joining he and Cathy at the circus and just getting to be a person instead of a politician for a while!

 

Note: this is the only fandom I requested fanvids for because I have for YEARS wanted to see a Relena centric fanvid set to Savage Garden’s “To the Moon and Back” – I mean come ON, it’s so painfully perfect a song for her! That said, I would also very much enjoy any kind of star/space themed song for either of these pairings. Sara Bareilles “Gravity” or “Cassiopeia” or “Send Me the Moon” also immediately come to mind as does Taylor Swift’s “Untouchable” but those are just off the top of my head. There would definitely be a ton of great options out there!
