Het Big Bang Plotbunny Finally Chosen! And call for artists/betas...

Hey all! I FINALLY decided which story I've settled on: May I present

"Our Due Time" aka the Reaper!Vaako/Kyra fic of doom! (or.. Doom... whichever lol)

Plot as such: Kyra is still dying as the Lord Marshall meets his due time at Riddick's hands, but John Vaako finds himself drawn to save her the only way he can. Both find immortality to be a tricky thing, and with Riddick and Dame Vaako around, it can only get more... interesting. Meaning, of course, deadly.

Pretties? Pretties!



OK so, I have a thing for eyeliner and sexy strong women in hoods. Me thinks Kyra will be wearing that jacket/hood/thingy often!



And Vaako... also in eyeliner, and of course armed to the teeth. What's not to like?


Anyway! Enough of me drooling like a fiend lol.  I did want to tell all of you that het_bigbang  is still looking for artists.. like bad. There are probably 160+ writers so far, but only 15 artists to claim them and do pretties for them later. That being said, I know SEVERAL of you are happy little artsy fartsy types, and personally I think you should join in the madness too!!  Note:  you do NOT have to do an actual drawing/pic if you don't want to; you can also do things like photomanips, fanvids, banners... All that sort of awesome stuff that I know some of you are capable of. So yeah, Artists for the win!

Also, they are looking for more beta readers as well. I know several of you also beta (as do I actually... hmmmmm) so yeah, if you can sign up for that, there will be a crazy writer just like me all seriously excited to see ya!

I would love to sign up as an artist, but there's that stipulation about doing 2 pieces of art per story, and I can only offer a mix, as I cannot draw or manip to save my life.

Eee glad you think so! It's been nibbling at me for months now.. it was a great excuse to bring it out to play!

Yay!!! I love doing soundtracks! I've always done them for myself, and then I did a couple for last year's startrekbigbang and I've done a couple for friends who are writing novels, and it's just loads of fun.

Anyyyyyyyyyyyyyway, I am totally excited of the idea of a fanmix.. however, I just switched my pairing lol. I'm going all Aliens with Ripley/Hicks centric. If you're up for a mix for that you would rock of course, but if not, I do intend to come back to Our Due Time at a later date. It's been on hold for a while, but I know I can pick it up again anytime.
