Yes, I know.. I have no excuse. What can I say: I warned yall the muse was a fickle little so and so.. that's half the reason we love him!

Anyway, so yeah, after diving head first into the fandom, I was totally depressed to find that it's seriously shallow in regards to Ripley/Hicks fics... so clearly, I need to just give in and write some of my own.

I'm going to go into the Big Bang pretty much blind, but here's a very VERY rough plot idea so far: The survivors on the Sulaco attempt to build a family in the midst of physical, mental, and emotional pain. Add in possible Company pissyness and the alien ship that maybe wasn't destroyed in the blast. Cue h/c angst, eyesmexing, and possible action scenes.

Let me know what you think, and also, if you know of any awesome Ripley/Hicks Icons or fics, PLEASE pass them on! I will love you forever!!

Hey all! I FINALLY decided which story I've settled on: May I present

"Our Due Time" aka the Reaper!Vaako/Kyra fic of doom! (or.. Doom... whichever lol)

Plot as such: Kyra is still dying as the Lord Marshall meets his due time at Riddick's hands, but John Vaako finds himself drawn to save her the only way he can. Both find immortality to be a tricky thing, and with Riddick and Dame Vaako around, it can only get more... interesting. Meaning, of course, deadly.

OK so, I have a thing for eyeliner and sexy strong women in hoods. Me thinks Kyra will be wearing that jacket/hood/thingy often!

And Vaako... also in eyeliner, and of course armed to the teeth. What's not to like?

Anyway! Enough of me drooling like a fiend lol. I did want to tell all of you that

het_bigbang is still looking for artists.. like bad. There are probably 160+ writers so far, but only 15 artists to claim them and do pretties for them later. That being said, I know SEVERAL of you are happy little artsy fartsy types, and personally I think you should join in the madness too!! Note: you do NOT have to do an actual drawing/pic if you don't want to; you can also do things like photomanips, fanvids, banners... All that sort of awesome stuff that I know some of you are capable of. So yeah, Artists for the win!

Also, they are looking for more beta readers as well. I know several of you also beta (as do I actually... hmmmmm) so yeah, if you can sign up for that, there will be a crazy writer just like me all seriously excited to see ya!

Hey all!

So not that I NEEDED another fic/project to work on, but due to seren_ccd pimping out het_bigbang , I now kinda want to do it!

Long story short: write a brand new 25k long het pairing centric fic in any fandom, including crossovers and AUs, by September 25th. As far as the word count/deadline.. this I can do, yes? Assuming the muse behaves and I don't go crazy in the process. I'm not sure yet if it's strictly cannon charas or if OCs are welcome, but I've written both so I don't think that would be too much of a problem either way. And sadly (or not so sadly really but still a limit on the crazyness), it has to be focused on the pairing instead of just a gen fic. Which thankfully does cut out at least some of the mega list of plot bunnies running around in my head.

In any case: do yall think I should join in on the insanity or no?

Also, what fandom do yall think I should dive into for it? God knows I have a massive freaking list I've written in.

Here are my current semi plot bunnies I could maybe pick up depending on the OC issue:

Pitch Black/ COR verse: Reaper!Vaako/Kyra fic.. sequel to No Due Time http://www.fanfiction.net/s/5440247/1/No_Due_Time

Magnificent 7 or Possibly Mag7 Zompieapocalypse Verse if the darling alex_kade will let me play in her verse and give me enough back story to make it worth while lol: Chris/Mary or Ezra/Inez perhaps. Either that or I've got a thought for a Chrisish/OC fic in my brain.

Pitch Black/Firefly crossover: Riddick/River. If only for the sheer insanity, though how I'd bring these two together could be exciting.

RED: William Cooper/Mrs. Cooper. Possibly a fic about him tryign to win her back after she leaves him after the film due to you know.. lots of men breaking into their home with guns lol.. and lord knows I'd throw in the rest of the gang somehow just to make it interesting.

Other than those, my muse is up in the air. If you've got a het pairing you want to see in a fandom you know I read/write in and just want to request for the hell of it. Let me know.. it just might end up on my list lol.
